Activae es un gestor profesional de activos digitales y multimedia. Nace con el objetivo de ser un sistema polivalente, compuesto por toda una serie de subsistemas funcionales que le den la capacidad de convertirse en lo que el usuario desee, siempre con la flexibilidad de incorporar nuevas funcionalidades o nuevas formas de proporcionar las funcionalidades básicas, ya sea mediante incorporación de módulos completos, integrando productos externos o modificando el comportamiento de los ya incluidos.
Construida en forma modular, esta plataforma para la gestión y consumo de activos digitales, está orientada a servicios, y sobre todo está basada en tecnologías y estándares libres y abiertos.
